Our puppy ROXY Simone

Wow! New puppies are a lot of work. Not that y'all didn't warn me...I guess I just needed to experience it for myself.:( We adopted Roxy as a little puppy. We selected her out of a litter of seven last July, and then got to take her home in September. Ryan has always wanted an English Bulldog since he was young, so I searched and searched for a good breeder to adopt her from and surprise Ryan for his birthday last August. She's finally potty-trained. whew!!! Lots of work. Now we're focussing on obedience. We welcome advise! We're starting the intermediate dog-training course in February...with all of our extra time...haha. Anyway, we just love her. She's been so much fun, inspite of the hard work, for the whole family.:)

The Losser & Ludvigson road trip to Lake Tahoe 25 years ago:)

One week & 635 visitors later

My Dad has been in I.M.C. for one week since his car accident. We've been pretty much living there. Thanks you all for your love and support. Your emails and cards have been so uplifting to us. One week later and 605 visitors to his blog www.welovekirby.blogspot.com
Boy, is he loved by many! He's getting stronger everyday & overcoming obstacles galore. He's paralysed but we'll rally around him and be grateful for each day we have with him. I love the saying on his blog: "Each Day is a Gift". It's a miracle Dad's alive!

The Gardner Menage: A life changing accident

Friday, January 16, 2009
The first update...

As you may have heard, our dad was in a horrible accident on Thursday morning around 1:00 am on I-15. We have created this blog in an attempt to keep everyone informed of his status and progress as time goes by. We realize that there will be many who wish to express their love and concern and also want to hear how things are going. We all are very busy in dealing with this life changing event, but want you all to know how much we appreciate your genuine concern for our family. It will be difficult to answer phone calls and questions, so we kindly ask you to refer to this blog as we will do our best to keep it current. We, as well as our dad, would greatly appreciate any words of encouragement or expressions of love. Please feel free to comment on this blog, as this will serve as a journal for the road we are about to travel down. Thank you again on behalf of our family, especially our dad!
